Microsoft has announced that from today you can propose to test a preview of the new Xbox 360 update, which will be officially released in the coming months. The upgrade will improve overall performance of the dashboard and will introduce the possibility to make purchases in local currency, since Microsoft Points will go "off course" by the end of the year.

To participate in the beta you will not have to do is download a small application "Beta Xbox 360" that were found in the home of the Xbox 360 after connected to Live: after you start you can give your consent to participation, the app will send to the data of your console and within one or two days you should receive the new update.

Participation in the beta, however, is limited: once you have reached the maximum number of users, will be closed.
