Ubisoft E3 deepened further, explaining that when we'll play to the present day in the shoes of the researcher will be able to get in touch with other players.

The game has a single-player mode "connected": while we at Abstergo to conduct our research, other scientists and researchers can be impersonated by our friends and other players that are playing the same stage at the same time. This will allow us to interact with them and even the results of our researches, affecting one another.

It is unclear however if this feature will only be available in the next-gen versions of the title, as the game's Director Ashraf Ismail explained that this feature is " one of the strengths of next-gen ", making us guess then that may not be present on the current console.

Ismail then explained that in Assassin's Creed II: Black Flag , not to live in the memories of the protagonist but this will be limited to explore sequences of genetic history (probably of Desmond) stored on the servers of the Abstergo: when will emerge from these sequences we can then freely explore, first-person-view, all premises of the multinational with the possibility to search and interact with various characters.

The title Ubisoft is expected October 31 on Xbox 360 and PS3 at launch on Xbox One .
