GRID multiplayer 2
You want a fast race online or challenge to split screen between two players, specialize in your preferred event or become one of the world's most complete in each discipline, GRID 2 will offer a multiplayer experience entirely based on the style of play and the player's choices.
The wide range of GRID mode 2 lets you play online up to a maximum of 12 players, facing custom races based on your preferences, or by choosing between some predetermined events to jump immediately into action. Players can change their car with several upgrades, and customize them further with a livery editor, easy to use but very complete, able to offer well 6 billion possible combinations.
The new anti-griefing divide players into groups, so lovers of custom liveries will be grouped together, while the pilots of "series" will find other similar players in their online sessions.
Play modes: Race (including LiveRoutes â„¢), Endurance , Drift , Touge , Checkpoint , Face Off , Time Attack . Events of global challenges including Overtake and Power Lap .
RaceNet Website
RaceNet website is the new online portal and free for Codemasters Racing Games, allowing gamers to store all its data about competitions, rewards and rivals. With GRID 2 will be available in the final version, which will be the heart of the game's multiplayer experience. In fact, RaceNet website will not only view the progress of the game, but will provide new targets, rivals and rewards. Players will also monitor all stats and rankings of the community, as well as to participate in events of the global weekly Challenge. RaceNet website is accessed through your PC, tablet or mobile device, thanks to a series of dedicated applications that will be available after the launch of the game. "Rivals" of GRID 2
Thanks to the new rival management system in GRID 2 players will always have someone to play with, constantly facing new challenges. GRID 2 includes three types of Rivals:
Weekly rivals: RaceNet website automatically selects a weekly Rival to compete, based on your skill and its activities in the game, to ensure an appropriate level of challenge.
Social rivals: players can choose which social Rivals among your friends or other users with whom they have competed previously.
Rivals: players can choose a custom and Rival based on some parameters, such as the type of event or the geographic location.
Global challenge
Global challenge is a new asynchronous mode, in which rivals are literally life. Players can tackle their Rivals even when they are offline, to get too experience, game currency and Follower of RaceNet website (see next paragraph) competing in up to nine weekly global challenges, selected from the wide range of methods and GRID 2 scenarios. Players can track their progress in the global challenge, directly in the game or online via RaceNet website.
Follower of RaceNet website
Competing, players can earn reputation that allows it to increase its share of Follower on RaceNet website. More get good results and complete lenses, and the greater the number of Followers they have on RaceNet website. The Follower can be subtracted to rivals, defeating them in weekly global challenges, or obtained on RaceNet website, participating in online events and challenges of community or completing objectives. Players can also unlock the RaceNet website of their Rivals to ensure the objectives achieved while RaceNet website will highlight the players with the greatest number of Follower.
Sharing
In addition, you can show off your best overtaking or most spectacular accidents facts online, because GRID 2 will upload the replay video to YouTube and RaceNet website, but also to share their favorite videos on Facebook and Twitter.
