In recent years, has perhaps shone, but there is no doubt that LucasArts, Lucasfilm Games, represents a piece of history in the world of video games: just think of the early adventure games like Maniac Mansion or Monkey Island, the X-Wing and Tie Fighter, BioWare's fantastic KOTOR and etc.

Then a certain effect that Disney, as part of restructuring following the acquisition of Lucasfilm, LucasArts decided to close both as a publisher and as a development studio: all future games dedicated to Lucas brands will be developed by external publishers, under license. This also includes Star Wars: 1313 , title announced only last year and whose development was cancelled, unless some editor will not face forward to buy the license. And even chatted Star Wars: First Assault suffered the same fate.

We can only welcome this historic brand, hoping that the licenses linked to it can end up in future in good and capable hands.
