GameStop CEO: Xbox 3 is excellent, will capture attention

Although Microsoft remains publicly buttoned on his new console obviously started to talk about it and show it with its most important partners, such as large publishers and the major distribution chains that will have the task of bringing to the masses the new console.

Among these there is obviously GameStop, whose CEO j. Paul Raines says it has spent a lot of time with Microsoft to talk about the new console; Raines explains that obviously will have to leave the House in Redmond decide when to reveal it, but from what I saw it will be " an excellent and very convincing ", which when it announced " will capture the world's attention ".

The fact that the CEO of GameStop, which please note based much of its business on the sale of used games, speak with great enthusiasm of the new Xbox makes us understand that the rumors of some kind of lock on the used games are basically unfounded. And makes us understand how Microsoft cares about the chain, aware of the role that it has in the success of a console.

If the used does not seem to be a problem-but Online Pass and the like-new prices may be. Raines has explained that in the coming months will very prices of next-gen games, saying that the publishers would take kindly to a price increase.

We close the news with a side note: in the last month, developers have started to receive pre development kits-new Xbox final: both pad that consoles are covered with a black and white striped woven as a kind of barcode complex which appears to have been designed by Microsoft to recognize every single piece in photography so to understandin case of leak, who broke the confidentiality agreement. From early reports it appears that the joypad of the new Xbox will be very similar to the current while maintaining the same position of buttons and sticks, with a slightly smaller size of the current.

According to the latest rumor, the new Xbox is expected to be announced at a private event in late April: we will keep you informed.
