From a recent interview done by Game Informer by members of Eidos on their highly anticipated Thief , it was found that the title will not have a competitive multiplayer sector but most likely will engage developers to achieve some kind of cooperative to give players " a different perspective on what can be Thief ".

If this co-op will be integrated into the main story or be part of a story or separate missions, for now we can not know. To date information on are still scanty and invite you to stay tuned for all the latest news.
