CODEMASTERS unveils new scenarios and SOME EUROPEAN CARS GRID 2

A NEW TRAILER OF GAME SHOWS, BEST EUROPEAN COMPETITIONS BY HAIRPIN BENDS OF THE CÔTE D'AZUR TO THE BEAUTIFUL STREETS OF PARIS

Thursday, March 28 – Codemasters ® today announced a series of new cars, teams and scenarios that will be present in GRID 2 ™, the launch of the game on May 30. In addition to unravel some of the best European sports with which you will be able to compete, including several Super Tourism category cars, Codemasters has released a new trailer showing the greatest moments of European competitions of GRID 2 .  

The trailer for "GRID 2: European Expansion" stars scenarios, cars and European teams. In road races in Côte d'Azur , players will compete in the galleries overlooking the sea, facing ramps, speed bumps and turns into one of the most spectacular scenery in the world.

The City races , instead, will animate the center of Paris with the roar of powerful cars to race at full speed among its charming alleys, passing the Arc de Triomphe and past at great speed the Eiffel Tower. While the circuit racing will take place between the curves of the International Circuit of Algarve in Portugal, to debut on consoles with GRID 2 . Known as Portimao circuit, this beautiful path from 250 million dollars was inaugurated in 2008 and is considered one of the most exciting circuits than ever, thanks to a corrugated asphalt and plenty of room to overtake.

Other European paths 2 GRID are Brands Hatch (in circuit racing), Barcelona (city buses) and the Red Bull Ring (track racing).

The trailer for "GRID 2: European Expansion" also shows two of the four touring cars that will be available. Super Touring car category, the Volvo S60 BTCS, one of the protagonists of the League and sports tip BTCS of trademark Volvo, is engaged in a head-to-head challenge with a Gomez Competition, a real thoroughbred racehorses developed by GC Automotive in Herault in southern France.

Other touring cars featured in the game are the BMW Motorsport 320 TC, the final evolution of the car that Andy Priaulx drove to two leagues, and the version of the Chevrolet Cruze, which in 2010 has won numerous victories in the WTCC and BTCC Championships, proving on track performance and brand value.
