A couple of years ago, Telltale Games claimed to be willing to develop a game dedicated to the comic book series published by Vertigo Fables which talks about some of the characters that belong to the world of fairy tales and folklore compelled by a mysterious individual known as the opponent to abandon the world of fairy tales and come into the real world, mingling with normal humans.

Afterwards the developers no longer have done knowing anything. Today we learn that the videogame adaptation of the series will be ported to Xbox Live and PSN in summer; the game is entitled The Wolf Among and always will be based on the world of Fables but away from comics starting precisely from the title and from the historic setting, which should be earlier than that seen in Fables.  The title makes us guess that the protagonist will be Luke Wolf, the big bad wolf of the three little pigs that takes human form in Fables becoming the Sheriff of Fabletown, neighborhood in New York City from fairy tales and concealed in the eyes of humans by a powerful spell.

The product still not much is known except that some of the items already seen in The Walking Dead will return, as the release to episodes and the consequences of our actions in the course of the adventure. Regarding the graphical style, this will be rather dark and this can be seen even from single image released that we propose below.

Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors said to be enthusiastic and that the product is extremely addictive. We are awaiting further details and, hopefully, the first video showing the gameplay.
