Rumor: Activision prepares to reveal Call of Duty: Ghosts
On YouTube is in fact blast a video of someone who claims to be familiar with Activision's plans, and he reeled off in great detail. Before proceeding further, it is good to point out how anyone can make a video in which invents a story about a new game, so this is the kind of rumor weaker than can be: in the event that the user in question is indeed an insider privy to confidential information, here's what he says.
The video explains that the next CoD will be called Call of Duty: Ghosts and it will be a sort of spin-off of Modern Warfare 3 but with a peculiarity: the story is set in the future but using current weapons. According to the author of the video, the story of the game put in front of us some event after which no longer use futuristic weapons but only those of the present day.
Another feature of the game is the multiplayer dynamic loading screens: instead of waiting for the loading of the map before a more or less static screen, our character will be delivered on the spot with a helicopter or will immerse himself in an Office with ropes from the roof, and so on, in a sort of mini-introductory game to the game itself.
As regards the movement of players, this will be reviewed and it looks like we will be able to shoot while we throw in slip after one click, as well as be able to roll on the ground by a cover. Spec-Ops mode will no longer exist and will be replaced by something new.
The game will also introduce the destructible cover, which seems to work very well in single player while developers are having problems to implement them in multiplayer; the environments will be more dangerous and will present a more dangerous and potentially capable of killing us.
In conclusion, the author of the video explains that the game will come only at the end of the year on PC and next-gen consoles, and that should be announced around May 1. There remains, therefore, that wait to discover if such information will prove true or not.
