Rumor: the pirate setting of Assassin's Creed IV takes shape in a poster

In early February we reported a rumor that Ubisoft was at work on a new Assassin's Creed to pirate setting in Caribbean Sea: today this rumor, which initially looked very weak, takes strength thanks to a promotional poster sent to Kotaku from an anonymous informant.

According to the informant the poster should be posted in u.s. stores from Monday, 4 March and, as you can see in the image below, shows a new Killer intent to fight against pirates on a Galleon. At the bottom is the name of the game: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag .

Fans of comics also will struggle not to distinguish in the distinctive image of a famous American Designer: Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn and co-founder of Image Comics, whose signature is foreseeable in the bottom right corner of the poster. That Ubisoft has decided to use the creative contribution of the famous draughtsman for the new title?

Your tomorrow will be an event for the press that Ubisoft will reveal the new title and we will find out at last what it is: we'll keep you updated in a timely manner as always.

Update : are there yet more details about the game, always strictly unofficial. It seems that the protagonist is named Edward Kenway, grandfather of Connor of Assassin's Creed III and known as Corsair, pirate and Murderer. The setting will be the Caribbean, islands like Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas. The development would be in progress for current consoles next generation ones. We propose below, next to the poster, what appears to be a first screenshot-not much more revealing moment-of the title.
