BioShock Infinite is gold: a message from Ken Levine
" BioShock Infinite went into gold.
The first time we announced BioShock Infinite, we promised to release a game that fully experience was BioShock, but at the same time for something completely different.
Our commitment, to cope with that promise, was the driving force for the past three years or so.
You, the fan, you've been incredibly patient with us. You have shared your hopes and your wishes on the title, keeping the faith.
Today I'm happy to announce that the game went gold. This means that has been approved by both Sony and Microsoft (in addition to PC 's) to be sent to production, loaded on trucks and taken to stores near your home for 26 March.
The final cost of the game is of 5 years, blood, sweat and tears of the Irrational team.
No one has ever built a game like this. It is a shooter, but a shooter that brings in the most cramped and dangerous places. Â I can't pretend that I play, but I can promise you that once you done it will be an experience you won't forget easily.
Who is Booker and what debt pushes him to go to Columbia? What are Elizabeth's powers and because it was segregated from small? Why Booker has the letters "AD" marked in his right hand? And, for God's sake, what is Songbird?
Columbia is a city full of mystery. I am pleased to tell you that a mystery has been unveiled: 26 March, you can play BioShock Infinite. "
