During the Conference on communication of their financials, Ubisoft has confirmed the development of a new installment of Assassin's Creed . The announcement came about by the voice of CEO Yves Guillemot: " we are pleased to inform you that a new installment of the Assassin's Creed series will arrive over the course of fiscal year 2014. The game will have a new hero, a new historical setting and a new development team. We expect the series to make a step further with this new title. Soon will be revealed the first details ".

The succession year after year of titles in the series is the brainchild of a multiple collaboration and hard work, as explained by Gullemot again: " This is the benefit of having more team of developers working on more chapters, each of which takes many years to crank out your own Assassin's Creed ".

Given the time span indicated by Ubisoft that goes from April 2013 to March 2014, is to think of a hypothetical spontaneous release of the game for next generation consoles, and probably also for current ones. Stay tuned.
