Rumor: next Xbox will have a voice recognition similar to Apple's Siri

New day, new rumor: the u.s. site The Verge has received information that the next Xbox will have speech-recognition functionality much more evolved than those available today with Kinect, especially regarding the understanding of our words and its effects.

The site explains that what we will find in the new console will be more comparable to Apple's Siri: System software that will include our words acting accordingly. If we would like to try a game, so instead of "Xbox, bing, name game" to which we are accustomed today we will be able to use normal phrases such as "Xbox, find me all horror games", or we can ask "show me what friends are doing" to display the friends list.

In addition to this, The Verge reports that you can access the console by simply exclaiming "Xbox, accenditi" and that will also features text-to-speech, to send text messages (maybe via Skype, that other rumor want integrated into the new machine) simply dictating words to console.

Except for the vocal power, these are features that anyone with an iPhone or an Android phone has already been able to end experience, so there is nothing technically impossible: If anything remains to be seen what and how many languages will be supported at launch. As always look forward to then official denials or confirmations.
