Electronic Arts Inc.  (NASDAQ: EA) and the award-winning developer Crytek GmbH today announced that the open beta multiplayer Crysis 3 , sandbox shooter's experience of the highest quality, will be available from January 29 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and PC. Including two team mode and two maps, extensive beta will give players an opportunity to test the superpowers of Nanosuit. The multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 will be available for two weeks and will give players the opportunity to receive help in the competition before the launch scheduled for Feb. 21 in Europe.

"We listened carefully to the opinions of our fans and with Crysis 3 we evolved multiplayer by adding a host of new gameplay features including the Hunter mode, new lethal weapons like the arch Predator, an arsenal bigger and even more unlockable options, an improved upgrade system and some social features such as the New York Feed. Add the ultimate weapon in the Nanosuit and multiplayer experience that is unique in the genre.

The multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 will begin on January 29, will end on February 12 and will be characterized by two of the 8 available modes in Crysis 3 . Crash Site mode, players must conquer and defend very specific places, earning points depending on the slain enemies and the ability to protect the designated place. The exciting new Hunter mode makes its debut in Crysis 3 . This asymmetric mode time see opposites two players against 10 (two against 14 on PC) to match challenges, starting with two non-discoverable mode hunters aiming for 10 soldiers way CELL. Armed only the Nanosuit and lethal strengthened Bow Predator, hunters will have to follow the enemy and kill it in a systematic manner; the CELL in turn will making teamwork and try to stay alive until the end of the match.
