343 Industries has published in detail the calendar of upcoming updates to Halo 4 , announcing that the additional content "Majestic Map Pack" (free for Season Pass holders) will arrive on the marketplace in February and will consist of two small maps and a setting of medium size.

Updates will be made active on Monday of each week, no need to download a patch, and among them there will be the new Spartan Ops, free-for-all mode (probably not linked to gamemode Regicide) and an improvement in Team Snipers playlist.

Week of January 21

• Release of episode 6 of Spartan Ops with five new missions and a new kinematics in CG.
• Introduction of the playlist "Forge" (tentative name) in which will be placed in small maps rotation as "Relay". The community can provide feedback and act as testers to eliminate bugs and make it ready for the arrival in Matchmaking.
• Pioneer and Pathfinder specializations will be unlocked and available to all players.

Week of January 28

• Release of episode 7 of Spartan Ops with five new missions and a new kinematics in CG.
• Introduction of famous playlist "Griffball".
• The Stalker will Engineer and specializations unlocked and available to all players.

Week of February 4

• Release of episode 8 of the Spartan Ops with five new missions and a new kinematics in CG.
• Introduction of the playlist "Team Doubles" for lovers of 2 vs 2.
• Rogue specializations and Tracker will be unlocked and available to all players.
