Using Halo Waypoint, Frank O'Connor has published a small contribution that pulled the sums on Halo 4 and plotted the route for the next title in the series, Halo 5 . The Director of 343 Industries franchise explained that Master Chief adventure release this November was the best of the series and also the chapter that has sold faster than all predecessors.

The development team is extremely pleased not only economic performance but also for his work in expanding the universe of Halo, in improving the graphics engine that moves both the single player campaign that the multiplayer and for having been able to innovate the gameplay, storytelling and also the game's promotion campaign.

O'Connor then went on talking about the future of the brand: " there are many things that we would have preferred to finish better, [...] but there are also many other things that have gone surprisingly well: creating a great learning in developing competitive AAA titles is one of them. A collection of talent and souls that can do something really amazing on this and and hardware next generation : a review of a game engine 's amazing [...] and a great collective training on systems , about people , about the code and programming on the public that we will characterise and we will conquer a good place in the future ".

In summary, Halo 5 would already be in pre-development stage, ready to go out on the new Xbox and the development team promises great positive jolts in all departments of the game. We have to wait for future news.
