From China a new rumor about the specifics of the next Xbox

After the rumor of last September, which had provided the first information about the hardware of the next Xbox (Xbox 720, 3 or as many call it), today arrive new information from a forum for Chinese developers.

TCFC forum is in fact appeared on a user's post apparently at work on new hardware, who confirmed some of the specifics emerged above the 8 core CPUs and 8 GB Ram. The user has also stated that the OS console side will use a customized version of the Windows kernel, while 8 mass storage will have a 640 GB hard drive. But the latter figure might refer to development kits, which have roomy hard drive to facilitate the development of securities, given that it is unlikely that, with a view to production cost savings, Microsoft's console features a disk so capacious.

What is also interesting about graphics processor: it seems that the GPU is based on Nvidia 's 8800 AMD, of course suitably optimized and customized to the architecture of the console.

Since this is a user post on a forum, it's very unreliable information and verifiable: but in some way supported by the fact that, after this post, another user known, former Ubisoft employee, wrote indignantly that he reported the leak to Microsoft, hinting that it could be real specific.

Certainly here in June, when it is expected the announcement of the console, it will flow like rumor a lot: we have to take everything with due caution until the official unveiling.
