Ubisoft has confirmed to be working on a patch for Far Cry 3 that could allow you to toggle the UI elements to your liking (map, Visual indicators, etc.). This stated by a spokesperson for the developer: " to the requests of many users , the production team of Far Cry 3 is working on a patch that will allow you to set the elements of the UI/HUD based on player preference. You will soon have more news about it . "
