During the promotional period of Call of Duty: Black Ops II , Activision had given great emphasis to the fact that for those who preordinava the game there would be an additional map Nuketown 2025. The promotion there's actually been but Activsion has decided to remove the map from the game's multiplayer mode with deep disappointment by the players.

On twitter the game design director commented: "what Nuketown 2025 will be back for other special events. You can play it with your friends in custom matches ", but that mode is used.

Players rightly expect to be able to play the map whenever they wanted and are then dropped onto a war footing. Clarification was requested with regard to Activision, we'll see if and what to respond.
