Treyarch explains the causes of ban in CoD: Black Ops II

Tomorrow is a big day for all lovers of FPS, will in fact Call of Duty: Black Ops II and to put the record straight from the outset, Treyarch has decided to publish a list of what will be the reasons that may lead to the ban of players. The ban will go from 48 hours to two weeks for "crimes", until the definitive ban for those considered more serious. "The minor offence will be one that will not cause damage to other players or to the community, while the more serious will be just cause harm to others" .

Here is the complete list:

  • Modding/Hacking: Any user running a modified version of the game code or uses a modified game profile is subject to penalty.
  • Pirated content: any user who illegally acquires content from Call of Duty: Black Ops II is subject to penalty.
  • Use devices and applications that are not supported: Any user who is using a device or an unsupported application to interact with the game is subject to penalty. These include modified controller, flooders and lag switchers IP.
  • Boostare: any user who agrees with another player in order to get XP, prestige, game score, weapon, or level of the game objectives is subject to penalty.
  • Glitch: any user who is abusing an exploit in the game code is subject to penalties.
  • Offensive behavior: any user that has an aggressive, offensive, hateful or racist is subject to penalty.
  • Offensive emblems: any user who creates an emblem with sexually explicit images, racist material or bad wording is subject to penalty.
  • Offensive behavior via Live Stream: any user who is found to have offensive or unauthorized in your Live Stream live is subject to penalty. Offensive content includes but is not limited to vulgar language, racism, and nudity. Unauthorized Content includes but is not limited to unlicensed music, TV shows, movies and brand logos.
