During a recent interview for the PS Blog , the producer of Dead Space 3 Steve Papoutsis has released some interesting information about the game. First, the manufacturer wanted to reassure all those who are looking for a scary experience, explaining that this will still be one of the strengths of the game, but in a different way: rather than betting everything on necromorphs that emerge suddenly from the walls, we tried to rely more on the psychological aspect of horror working on atmosphere, environments, and sound.

Papoutsis said that this kind of horror will be extremely effective even when the title will be played in co-op in two in order to have high levels of tension also together with a friend. And speaking of co-ops, the producer explained that if we will play it alone, we will not have Carter to follow us: we will only Isaac and thus not lose not even anything in history. When a friend of ours will join us comes into scene Carter, of whose history we can learn various details as soon as the game goes on, but just playing in co-op.
