With the latest dashboard update, still in the release phase , Microsoft has removed the applications Facebook and Twitter from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Users already in possession of the above app can still launch them, but who don't have can download them. It is thought that the reason for this choice is the introduction of Internet Explorer which enables users to directly access web sites of their favorite social networks, doing, at least in part, the Visual and functional limitations imposed by dedicated applications.

However there is to consider that the app is still mentioned on the Xbox.com Web site, proving that you can be a technical problem or a gradual removal. We will know more in the coming days.
