In a recent interview with Joystiq, Microsoft stated that the second disc of game of Halo 4 will contain only the game's multiplayer, but it won't be usable stand-alone as it happened with the multiplayer disc of ODST: the second disc will in fact installed on Hard Disk or storage device with at least 8 GB free, after which the multiplayer will be accessible directly from the first disc. This means that owners of Xbox 360 4 GB will have to buy an additional storage device (a normal USB stick is fine).

This isn't the first time microsoft forces gamers to install content to play, was in fact already happened something like this with Force 4 . Please note, although we do not believe there is a need, that Halo 4 will arrive in stores on November 6.
