Fuse: first details and information emerging from the web

It is thanks to a post by doesnot contain certain NeoGAF user, who has been lucky enough to try the title directly at Insomniac Games, that we are able to provide you with some new and interesting details on Fuse , born from the ashes of the previously announced Overstrike and how that will be published by EA. From what we can read the title took a slightly different direction than its previous incarnation: the characters seem less characterized and comic in favour of greater realisticità, as also the same enemies.

Jumping in piè pari, given that the title is still undergoing testing and development considerations purely graphics (particle effects, frame rate), below we present an excerpt of what seem to be the most significant details.

As for the gameplay of the title:

  • The gameplay mechanics are solid and entertaining
  • The movements are those typical of a third-person shooter and seem to strongly inspired by those of GOW, both as regards the system of covers the entrance/exit/overcoming of same; the whole thing is made in a very fluid and smooth.
  • The target system appears to be well-crafted, intelligent and very intuitive.

Great care has been dedicated to co-op campaign, playable up to 4 players, which includes:

  • A "skill tree"
  • XP team
  • 4 different classes:
    • Tank (Dalten)
    • Healer (Izzy)
    • Sniper (Jacob)
    • Stealth (Naya)
  • Need to use team tactics for getting the better of waves of enemies.

If you play the single player campaign will be accompanied by 3 bot of which you will be able from time to time take control to turn in our favour the battle.

Each character will have a primary and a secondary weapon, but while the former are unique to that particular character, minor ones can be collected and used by anyone:

  • Dalton : mercenary who does his shield boosted his winning weapon. The shield in addition to offering mobile shelter if and companions can also, thanks to an electric shock, risparare bullets stuck towards enemies.
  • Naya : creates the " Singularity ", real black holes that suck collapsed nearby enemies.
  • Jacob: uses an arc for skewering and distance keeping enemies, and can hurl lightning bolts from lethal power.
  • Izzy : with its Shatter Gun can cristallizare the enemy and at the same time launch medi-kit to sixth its companions.

Finally we are introduced the " Fuse Mode ", a sort of bonus ability that once acquired enhances the capabilities of the entire team, allowing each character to increase the damages arising from the use of their weapons.
