As A result of some rumor circulated on the net in recent days from the alleged statements by Pete Hines of Bethesda regarding cancellation of Prey 2 , today the same Bethesda tried to make more clear the situation on the production of this second installment in the series. The latest speculation they wanted a simple delay in production caused by the abandonment of the project by Human Head, developer of the game that would have stopped the production already since last November because of a disagreement on the terms of the contract to Bethesda.

And the situation still seems to be this: Bethesda has reassured fans explaining that Prey 2 has not been canceled, and that the reason why the title has not been presented to the latest gaming trade shows is a delay in production: " The game has not been deleted. The delay is due to the fact that the production did not follow a process that does not meet our needs and our quality standards.  Prey 2 has proven to be a great product and is not in our trasormarlo intentions in some sort of regret ".

Bethesda seems to have invested heavily in the production of the game to make sure that it is on exactly how fans If you expect. " We intend to launch a AAA title that should be respected as such, and we are not willing to compromise with our quality standards to ensure only a release date ".

It is at this point that the software house is deciding to proceed to product development to get it out on the next generation console. There remains nothing but await further news about that, obviously, we will not fail to share with you.
