During an interview on the occasion of the German trade fair, Karl Stewart Crystal Dynamic has issued some statements about Tomb Raider focussing mainly on the personality of the protagonist. At the beginning of the game, Lara will be a common girl and even unsafe in several circumstances, only towards the middle of the adventure the true character of the girl begins to form being much safer.

The various misfortunes that will live on the island and the many dangers which will face the very character will level, this according to the words of the band manager, turning it into a much more combative and Lara able to defend themselves from the many sexual attentions that some enemies will try to ask you. Stewart keeps us to point out once again, however, that Lara, while developing a character as more aggressive and confident, will not be similar to Lara that we met in the previous episodes of the series, as well as the appearance of the protagonist who is now closer to reality, more humane and less "super woman", a girl like many struggling with a terrifying adventure.
