Eurogamer.cz has received the information from some sources that the Mafia 3 is in development for the next generation of consoles. The site has also added as the title was originally planned for the Xbox 360, but it was postponed raising development working on the next console.

But the rumors didn't stop there: the game should come out in 2013, and if this were true it would mean that the next-generation is closer than you think, or at least it would be confirmation that the next Microsoft console until Christmas arrives 2013. When questioned about the rumor, 2 k Czech responded with a phrase quite known in the videogame world: " do not comment on rumors and speculation ."
