Ubisoft announced that the August 14 will arrive for owners of Rocksmith (so far released only in u.s.) an expansion from 2400 MSP that add support on bass, allowing fans of the four strings to improve their skill in techniques such as slapping, popping, and others. The high cost of the DLC is due to the fact that all traces of the game (both those on disk that the DLC released so far) adds support for the new tool: who has intention to buy the European version, arriving on 27 September, will find everything already within the game without additional expense.

Please note that Rocksmith allows those who want to learn or improve in playing electric guitar (and now also the bass) connects to a real instrument to the console using a special adapter, being driven in increasingly complex exercises: a kind of Guitar Hero for those who "are serious about".

Update : we had confirmation that the European version of the game will support on bass; news amended accordingly.
