Microsoft has announced the launch of Avatar Famestar : it is a program of collecting points similar to Gamerpoints obtained from unlocking the goals in games, but in this case the Famestar points are accumulated in a meter apart from performing particular challenges (e.g. reach a perfect score five times in a given mode) that there will be proposals from program participants. The points thus collected can then be spent to get in-game awards like avatar clothing or other items, much as happens already today for Ubisoft's UPlay points.

The Games program participants are all titles with support for avatars and the first of these is Wreckateer , the second Summer of Arcade title coming Wednesday. This will be followed by the next Live Arcade Fire Pro Wrestling , Homerun Stars and Avatar Motocross Madness , while in future existing titles will also be updated as Full House Poker and A World of Keflings to support at Famestar.
