Directly on their official facebook page , developers of Oddworld Inhabitants have announced that Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee , working title in their studies for some time, it will not be a simple porting in HD of the original PS1 game but a real reboot . This might mean that the game, while sharing characters and settings with the original title, might have different mechanical and potentially move to some kind of 3D vision.

In the same post the team stated that the game will be shown during the 2012, but will arrive in stores only in the summer of 2013 . We will keep you updated.
