Microsoft Announces SmartGlass and Internet Explorer for Xbox
Whitten showed integration of tablet with games such as Madden NFL and Halo 4 , with the possibility to modify patterns of play, formations or create multiplayer games without putting hands on the controller. Another interesting function is the dashboard navigation, now possible using our touchscreen smartphone.
Last but not least, Marc Whitten announced the arrival of a version of Internet Explorer created specifically for Xbox 360. In the demo was a navigation session, with the help of speech recognition using Kinect and a smartphone as a pointer, which allowed us to notice the perfect harmony between various devices to perform various actions, such as the pinch-to-zoom.
SmartGlass Xbox , as well as Internet Explorer, will arrive by the end of the year and will be an integral part of Windows 8.
