After the previous rumor about Smart Glass , that Microsoft is about to reveal a new system to send multimedia content from mobile phones and tablet to Xbox 360, arrives today a much more interesting. Kotaku cites some sources claim that the House of Redmond would announce Xbox Live Companion , public name of Smart Glass and not to be confused with the already existing "Xbox Companion" app for WP7, Android and iOS.

According to sources from Kotaku, this application will not only allow playback on Xbox 360 photos and videos present on devices, but will work in the opposite direction, allowing game developers to use mobile devices as a real console extensions. The app would in effect our phones and tablet in additional screens for Xbox 360, allowing games to show maps, selection screens, secondary data objects on missions and so forth; of course, how much and how to support such a feature would be at the discretion of individual developers.

But not enough: in Microsoft's intentions we would also be doing streaming adult games on the screen of the devices, so that we, together with the use of a wireless controller, play them even when the TV is occupied by others. A very similar feature as announced by Nintendo Wii controller with its U, who could potentially reduce the effect.
