So far no one knew much about the new title of Microsoft and Playground Games Horizon Force , except that the title will have a more arcade approach and will be free roaming. Thanks to German magazine GamePro, however, today revealed new details. First, the game will have physical strength 4 engine, but with reduced damage management and optimized to handle off-road terrain: the game world will be fully navigable in and out of the streets, offering very different types of terrain 65 between Earth, mud, grass, gravel, asphalt, and so on.

About the game world, this will be in Colorado during the festival, and according to the journal settings are extremely detailed and lifelike, able to offer magnificent views. The game will have a day/night cycle, allowing us to run in all light conditions, while the streets are populated by petrol, body change the appearance, car dealerships where to buy new machinery and so on. Events at which we will be able to take part will be of many different types, and may vary between classic races as a head-to-head battle between cars of the same make, up to more challenges eclectic as ran against aircraft. The magazine concludes by announcing that the title will come out in stores on October 23, 2012 .

Viewed thus, the concept of the game seems to be very similar to that of Test Drive Unlimited, but probably with an approach to more realistic driving physics; definitely a very ambitious goal for a team, to Playground Games, only four years ago. But it is a substantial group of people composed of Veterans of Bizarre Creations and Codemasters, all people with great experience in the development of racing games and backed by Turn 10. The foundations were laid for a title there are all extremely interesting: we hope to see soon in action.
