Rumor: Xbox Music Center will be the replacement for the Zune?

Working from an announcement published on Microsoft-Careers.com emerges one of the novelties that probably will be announced at E3: it seems that the Parisian Microsoft subsidiary is recruiting engineers " experts in programming in C/C++/Java " for the development of a new service that will replace Zune, presumably called Xbox Music Center , as it appears on some LinkedIn profiles of employees own at Xbox.

This announcement is similar to another offer for work published in March when Musiwave, French company leader in the distribution of musical content for the mobile phone purchased from Microsoft in 2007, was looking for " the creation of a huge catalog of music and programming of graphical user interfaces for listening to music on the Xbox, Windows and mobile devices ".

The service, as I predicted some time ago from The Verge , should use a technology similar to that offered by the app Spotify , i.e. the search for music tracks in the library through the simple listening of a song.

Now E3 is coming and it will be the Microsoft Conference next June 4 to dispel any doubts.
