Arkane Studios reveals new details on Dishonored

During a recent interview the two lead designer Raphael Colantonio, Arkane Studios Harvey Smith revealed some new information on Dishonored , expected by the end of this year we will see impersonate Crow, a bodyguard of the Empress, a day wrongly accused for the murder of the latter.

As stated by two developers, depending on how we will move forward certain situations that arise before the title, the plot will take different aspects and therefore our actions will have a huge impact on the final game.

A bit like happened in Deus Ex: Human Revolution , players will be able to choose whether to enter into various levels or trying not to get discovered by various enemies, then using a stealth approach, or by addressing the whole adventure with a frenetic style similar to a more common first-person shooter. Colantonio declares that " although mainly a Dishonored game stealth, allows any type of approach ".

We will have to decide whether to save our lives or kill them and even these decisions will lead the player to different endings. In addition there will be repercussions, and route changes in narrative vein, if innocent people are killed; the allies could arrive, even, to revolt against the protagonist.

The main peculiarity is that it does not contain Dishonored a final "good" and one "bad"-Arkane Studios is not interested in this concept is repeated several times in more recent productions-final but will vary according to many actions that the player decides to go further in the game.
