Electronic Arts, as previously reported , has today officially announced Crysis 3 , third installment of the popular first-person shooter video game created by Crytek, providing the first information about the game, the first images and the release date is scheduled for the spring of 2013. Players will inpersonate Prophet while back in New York City in the year 2047, this time imprisoned in a dome created by nano-Cell Corporation called "Liberty Dome"; a veritable urban jungle with high trees, extensive marshes and large rivers.

The Liberty Dome will be comprised of seven different natural environments, each with a particular pitfall and this will require new weapons and advanced tactics: Prophet will use then a deadly bow, a Nanosuit and alien technology to become a real Hunter. Developers claim that Crysis 3 is a mix of free roaming, advanced and revolutionary combat weapons arsenals, alien and human environments, while the seven rich visual content will game mechanics.

Regarding the plot, Prophet continues his mission after discovering the truth about the real reasons for the construction of nanocupole by Cell Corporation: while citizens had been informed that the structures were restored to protect the population and clean up the metropolis from the remains of Ceph, in fact the nanocupole represented the attempt by the Cell to take over the world and the technology to travel to the domain of the Earth. Not just aliens Ceph, but also human enemies will disturb the protagonist's mission.

Electronic Arts has also announced the Edition Hunter (priced at $ 59.99 US; in Italy still without a cost) for all those who wish to order already Crysis 3 : Hunter Edition players will advance to the multiplayer in the bow and all its utensils, and the Nanosuit by Hunter that adds more power and other features; Moreover, for multiplayer enthusiasts, who will be holding this year could start directly from level 5 and will have three exclusive platelets and a skin for your bow.
