Aliens: Colonial Marines, details of multiplayer

Sega and Gearbox have released a series of interesting details about the multiplayer section of Aliens: Colonial Marines , sci-fi FPS expected in stores in October. The game will see between two different in genre and in carattistiche, factions: the marines and with these Xenomorphs. Playing as marines, first-person view, will be equipped with a gun and classic assault rifles each with "fire" (grenade launcher) but we have also special equipment from our "tactics" as the viewer of move, which will allow us to know at all times the position of the enemy.

The orroriche and gloomy environments of Aliens: Colonial Marines that will frame our fights are the ideal ground for these Xenomorphs, with whom we will play in the third person. The latter are terrifying and dangerous beings muscle with particular agility, which combined with the "innate" ability to locate the enemy makes every marine an easy target on any type of soil; Another feature that should not be underestimated is their ability, once cut down, walk and release a substance able to burn an enemy.

Left4Dead style is that the marines will have several classes with these Xenomorphs, each with its own distinctive characteristics, physical and tactics. Further details were then provided for what concerns the system of progression, acquisition and integration of XP points, similar to the one currently used in Cod: MW, in fact these once in multiplayer, with kill or assist, will be investigated for the single player campaign, and vice versa. Waiting for more info, we leave you with a new video and a series of unpublished images on the game.
