During an interview with fellow G4 Matthew North, project director at Harmonix announced on Live Arcade arrival of their new music title Rock Band Blitz . In terms of gameplay, the game will be characterized by a total absence of peripheral-shaped musical instrument, typical of earlier titles; will be playable with the joypad. We hit a time of music while slide on those buttons that appear to the lanes of a highway.

Rock Band Blitz will be released with a tracklist of 25 songs but you can log on to the Rock Band Store to import; the most important detail is the fact that if you have purchased songs for Rock Band, you can use it without having to buy back in the Blitz, as well as the song for the new game for use in other Rock Band titles.
