Codemasters today announced the release for September 2012 F1 , the new racing game licensed official FIA Formula One World Championship. The Editor tells us that the game will feature " a large number of new features, important technical and gameplay advancements as well as a large number of competitive multiplayer components and co-operatives " and can count on " all official teams, drivers and circuits of the FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2012, including the debut of the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX in 2012 in Austin, Texas and the return of the famous German Hockenheim circuit, in the calendar ".

Important novelty of this edition will be the Young Driver Test mode, so described: " F1 2012 will introduce a new Young Driver Test mode which will represent one of the major additions to the series and that will bring the players even closer to the experience of feeling a real FORMULA ONE. Players will be introduced into the world of FORMULA ONE through a range of tutorials that explain how to manage auto racing more exciting and responsive, and will be challenged to get a lap by a team of FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2012. "
