The crowd of Hitman: Absolution it showcases

During a presentation at GDC San Francisco, developers of Hitman: Absolution showed his engine developments Glacier 2 emphasizing the ability to fill in the spaces with a large crowd, always maintaining a great detail and a good variety of models. This engine was created to make possible all decisions of the artistic team and one of these demands was just to have a dense crowd which can fully interact and exert some influence.

The lead physics programmer I Interactives, Kasper Fauerby, has finally provided the specifics of this goal: 1200 total models within the populous crowd, continuing to manage without any reduction, the 30 fps title.
