Halo 4: a first look at the game, no multiplayer beta

With the end of the embargo in the Spring Showcase Microsoft's 343 Industries has released a new ViDoc of Halo 4 that shows the development team working on animations, environments, weapons and there shows a comparison between the old armor Master Chief in Halo 3 and the new that will we be wearing in this unprecedented adventure: according to the developers was all greatly improved, both in terms of graphic design (like textures and polygon models) as well as for the game mechanics.

In the movie you can give for the first time a look at multiplayer and where you can see a remarkable difference between the various characters, armor and wear the colors chosen for the individual parts of the armor. About the maps, not necessarily you assist to a recycling of the locations featured in the campaign, but it will also present completely created from scratch sites: video is presented to us in the "Wraparound", a map with a decidedly advanced structure consisting of multiple levels and where players can fight; "Warhouse" is a military base, with much closer to human technology and a colour palette much darker and closer to reality, and which houses a giant mech in building right in the Centre of the base.

In contrast to the countryside, where we will inpersonate of course Master Chief in multiplayer our heroes will be the Spartan IV while retaining the Classic Blue Spartan factions and Spartan. In an interview to OXM, Frank O'Connor, as well as comment on what was shown at the Showcase, also claims that, unlike the previous chapters, the fans won't be able to put hand to any multiplayer beta: those who want to try their hand at multiplayer battles must necessarily wait for the day of the official release.

In addition to movies released, most international sites has also proposed previews and have issued a series of details. Edge brings the Creative Director Josh Holmes who dwells on the graphic engine and multiplayer: " we are reviewing our entire engine from top to bottom to provide significant technological advances and serve the experience we're trying to recreate. [...] We want to redefine the Halo multiplayer and our goal is to create something that is unquestionably Halo but that at the same time presents significant evolutions and innovations. Our goal is to radically reinvent multiplayer experience, both as regards the core elements of the game that "the conditions offered. Finally, according to reports, the armor abilities will make their return in Halo 4 and radically change the style of each player.
