As he would expect, came the first leaks of material on Assassin's Creed III and in this case what is leaked from the network are five images that reveal at first glance a radical change in the management of environments: no longer the individual towns and villages, but also the hills, forests and mountains that seem to be explorable with lots of local fauna.

For the moment it is not possible to determine whether, as in previous chapters, it is accessible only to certain areas, quests or from now on will be constantly quests, but the image in which the protagonist attempts to seize by surprise an enemy, the background would seem suggest a greater freedom with an exploration that could come close to recent titles belonging to the RPG genre. Also note the different climates, as snow (previously glimpsed in the cover of Game Informer) and rain.
