Some new info from the first review of Mass Effect 3

The release of Mass Effect 3 coming up, and as you would expect they also first reviews: the first was published by the German magazine GameStar to whom, as he would expect, the game really liked though was not given a final vote because the magazine's journalists want to first try out the PC version too (the one tested in the review was the PS3 version). But the most interesting thing, are the new details on the title emerged from the article: we present the most interesting ones, avoiding any kind of spoiler.

First, this third episode of the saga is evaluated as the best among the three for a truly immersive experience. The main story seems to fall around 15-20 hours, but the longevity will increase considerably if you race in quests that, inter alia, will serve to increase the support of other civilizations and thus improve our ability to thwart the threat of Raiders. Continuing in the game there will be about a manned filmed sequences that connect the various events of the story, giving the player the feeling of plunging into a real science fiction movie.

If many had wondered if Mass Effect 3 will conclude the trilogy, the answer is Yes; the final, without getting into annoying spoiler, has been described as "intense" and "touching" and leaves no question or point pending. The magazine has also hinted at an interesting sequence after the end credits. But before you get to The End, we will have to deal with over 100 scenes, myriad of conversations and events that will change depending on how we will respond to the many people with whom we interact. Thanks to a well presented by each character, we will face a big production "spectacular" and "dramatic" in many aspects.

As already announced, it was confirmed that the importation of the bailouts of the second episode will have its importance going to change in some places as a result of certain quests.Ā Thanks to the possibility to decide early whether to play purely based on the story without worrying about much of the fighting, Mass Effect 3 will then also be less seasoned players who are not accustomed to dealing with violent battles. The magazine says that, for those who will choose the mode "role-playing game", the experience will be similar to Mass Effect 1, with a good balance between dialogue, exploration and combat.

For lovers of DIY, the game gives you the ability to customize the main character in a very large: every class has eight talents with six levels each, and up to level four you can also choose between two different branches to level up. Also the customization of weapons is a key factor and appears to be notable in the realization.

A note addressed to production, however, is inherent in a balance of the fix not quite optimal. The game already average level is more difficult than the previous episodes. We sweat the proverbial seven shirts to get the better of in some places. Fortunately there have been problems in roofing where Shepard gives the best of himself. Even artificial intelligence seems to have some imperfection as well as, in specific points, the rendering does not get with low resolution textures. (remember that the PS3 version is proven: we can not know if this change on Xbox 360). But all this does not make the experience less compelling.

The characters are modelled very well. Merit note has also been given to the entire soundtrack and various effects during the battles.

There remains to wait for the day of release of the game and pad in hand to see how Mass Effect 3 has to offer.
