The brand new series of digital comics will be divided into three original chapters that will create a bridge between the first, original game of great success and the highly anticipated sequel PROTOTYPE 2 ,.  The first chapter of the series, titled "The Anchor" and illustrated by Paco Diaz, continues the story of Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the first game, while the second part of the cartoon, "The Survivors," illustrated by Chris Staggs, follows a small group of residents in New York in their attempt to flee the city after his transformation into NYZ due to the explosion of the virus Blacklight.  The third and final chapter, illustrated by Victor Drujiniu, is titled "The Labyrinth" and offers fans a deeper look about the background of the history of the new protagonist PROTOTYPE 2 's, Sergeant James Heller.  Each book in the series will be available for purchase Digital.Darkhorse.com website every two weeks from 15 February 2012.
