The financial analysis firm NPD has released sales data hardware and software of the US market for the month of October 2011. It seems that despite this year has not been price declines, Xbox 360 will present how the console more bought in pre-Christmas period, leading to sign about 400,000 units sold 250,000 against Nintendo and Sony.

On the front we find Battlefield 3 software to master with two million units, followed by all the major releases of the month: Arkham City, NBA 2K12, Rage, and so on. Rather surprisingly, even a super hardcore game as Dark Souls has found place in the top 10, peaking at sixth place. Below is the complete rankings.
