Microsoft resumes consoles banned by mistake

Microsoft has announced that it has reactivated a number of Xbox 360 consoles that were mistakenly banned during a recent wave of banking (other than that which we had already spoken on the theft of content and which were not banned consoles but the Xbox Live account users). The Redmond explains that, due to a bug in the software used to identify the console to hit between August 29 and September 9 has been banned an unspecified number of drives is not changed, that now can regain access to Xbox Live.

To make amends for the error, Microsoft said it will give three months of Xbox Live Gold subscription and 1600 Microsoft Points to all users involved in error. So if your console in this period was never banned even though you had not changed in any way, you should try to reconnect to Live, because it may return to normal operation.
