After the news of yesterday's Hardened sull'indisponibilit Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but most of the information on a supposed region lock on online game, has created quite a stir, GameStop now has published a clarification on his Facebook page that makes us better understand the situation.

GameStop explains that in Italy will not be sold because the Elite Plus membership due to the Italian law on competitions, we would not have access to competitions dedicated to service subscribers. Since the Hardened edition contains a code for the premium membership, they decided not to sell it to us since that code would be unusable.

With regard to the block area for online, actually the only notebook on the codes for the Elite Premium subscriptions: these can be redeemed only in the country in which they were sold, so the collectors who buy a Hardened can play English Edition easily online (Elite and use the service free of charge), but they can not redeem the code and then Elite Premium DLC will not have access to free and all the other peculiarities of the paid service.
