2K Sports has announced that at its release, expected in October 7th, NBA 2K12 will hit stores with three different covers. The inclusion of Michael Jordan in NBA 2K11 was a great success and the strongest player in basketball history will return for the new chapter, but instead will be two versions produced in limited quantities depicting "The Legend" of the Boston Celtics Larry Bird and Earvin Johnson Jr., better known as the historic Magic Johnson Lakers.

Jordan, Bird and Johnson are all three depicted in stylized versions by Adam Larson's Adam & Co, while the cover except for the three versions will be identical. I will leave you with images of three different covers, which, admittedly, are truly beautiful.
