In an interview with OXM UK at E3 2011, BioWare's Ray Muzyka has offered some clues about the future that will have Mass Effect after the release of the third chapter. Muzyka when was asked a hypothetical MMO based on the science fiction series, he reacted by saying that they are very evasive focused on The Old Republic.

At the end of the interview, however, Muzyka has released a statement that drew wide attention: "Mass Effect 3, is the beginning of a galactic war." That would have meant by these words? Perhaps the beginning of a war of mass?

In short, we expected that Mass Effect 3 would bring an end to the conflict but in fact the third chapter might be only a beginning. If a Mass Effect MMO would become a reality, it would certainly be hard to think of it as a PC exclusive, since the series has always been on Xbox 360. At the moment however we have to wait until March to find out how the trilogy will conclude the series.
