The EA's E3 conference opened with Mass Effect 3, the highly anticipated sci-fi RPG with BioWare. The demo starts by showing the gameplay of the game where Shepard was attacked by a Raider and helped by Garrus and Liara until they take control of a shuttle: the player is then positioned on the turret of the vehicle to escape.

For this demo, we finally know what is the Omni-Blade, a kind of energy blade for use in close combat to stab enemies. Then we are shown the official trailer of the game: the land is invaded and under attack from raiders and Shepard who fights for his defense. The trailer also reveals the release date scheduled for March 9, 2012. Below you will find the trailer and the demonstration that took place on stage, together with a series of images of the game.
